The Gift of Social Media

Hey! Thanks for checking out my blog!

So, SOCIAL MEDIA! It’s such a cool tool to use as a little, tiny artist trying to gain traction! What comes to mind when I think about social media and the power it holds, honestly, is all of those boring textbooks we used to read in school. UGH. No one would ever pay attention because they weren’t eye catching or fun to look at. What I aim to do with my posts on Instagram or FaceBook is to catch peoples eye and make them stop to look at it. It never really matters what the post actually says as long as it makes the viewer look at it. Then after they’ve started to look at it, their brain automatically starts to read it. That’s when you’ve got them hooked. Aesthetic really matters when trying to sell a brand… or basically yourself as the brand.

A fun fact about my posts is I try to figure out the outfit for whatever gig I’m trying to promote before I release any content for it. That way that one event has it’s own color scheme! It all flows together and is nice to look at.

So anyways, that’s my rant on social media aesthetics. Check out my last blurb too!

Thanks for reading :)
